It must be stressful always
being in the limelight and the face of an international beauty
brand. How does she do it? Yasho strongly believes that
keeping oneís body clean is not sufficient, one must be pure
in thought and feelings. She says that facials, clean ups and
creams are not the only answer. She maintains a balanced diet
and drinks lots of water and milk.

For exercise, Yashoda
follows meditation and yoga, which her father taught her, as a
means of dealing with problems. She finds meditation helpful
for her concentration and the easiest way to de-stress,
especially during breaks in her busy work schedules.

Yasho doesnít believe in blindly following trends. Whether
itís dressing up or down, she wears outfits that suit her and
the occasion, with elegant jewellery to match. She chooses
colours such as neutrals and pastels that complement her
down-to-earth personality and are appealing to the observer.
On a daily basis, she finds it convenient and comfortable to
wear jeans and fitted shirts. Yashodaís most treasured item in
her wardrobe is an off-white handloom sari with a detailed
border bought in Kerala. |
|
Having to wear make up for
most days of the year and for up to 18 hours during a work
day, when she is away from the camera, Yashoda wants her skin
to breathe and so wears minimal make up.
Whatís in Yashoís handbag?
Her wallet and organizer, mobile phone, eyeliner pencil,
lipstick and face powder.
